Aftercare

Care Guide

A slower approach to care keeps leather, finish, and structure looking composed for years rather than a single season.

Best Practice

Store pieces away from direct heat, condition only when the surface begins to feel dry, and let marks settle naturally before over-treating them.

01

Daily Handling

Use a soft dry cloth to remove surface dust, avoid prolonged direct sun, and keep leather away from radiators or damp storage. Small habits do more than aggressive cleaning routines.

02

Conditioning

Apply a small amount of quality conditioner every few months only when the material looks or feels dry. Work lightly in circular motions, let it absorb, then buff with a clean cloth.

03

Water & Stains

If a piece becomes wet, blot it gently and allow it to dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat. For oil, ink, or set-in staining, professional leather care is the safer route.

04

Patina

Vegetable-tanned leather evolves with use. Soft shifts in tone, touch, and finish are part of the material story and should be read as depth of character, not damage.
